Setting The Tone For Medal Of Honor

I haven’t put up a game trailer in awhile (I believe the last one was Bioshock). I enjoy when the tone or atmosphere of the game is set by the game trailer. Medal Of Honor: Leave A Message does just that. I could describe the trailer but it will take away from the feeling that you may get from seeing the trailer yourself. With E3 just around the corner, hopefully there will be more information and gameplay of Medal Of Honor. Maybe this can stop my addiction to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

ESP Video: Shaolin Wu Cap

Recently I purchased the Shaolin Wu cap from AmazingStore.jp and wanted to make a video of the cap coming out of the box. The stitching and quality is just what you expect from a New Era cap, excellent. Shaolin and the Wu-Tang logo are on the front of the cap with Applebum logo and Wu-Tang name on the back. On the inside label it says “OG edition”. Overall I feel this cap does Wu-Tang proud and I will wear it that way. Check out the video to see it in action.

There are certain artists out that make music for the love and progress of hip-hop and music, either by what they say or do. I remember on a radio interview awhile ago the radio host asked Wordsworth (of Punch & Words and EMC), that if he had a million dollars what would he do. His answer was that he would build a studio and make music all day. Ever since I heard that I knew I would buy anything he released. Another man in the same vein is Damu The Fudgemunk who I showed you do it for the love in Washington Square with his Akai. Available now is his digital and vinyl release of Kilawatt V1 with all the beats from you guessed it Damu. Here is a video from Kilawatt V1 project called Prosper.

Oh Word had posted up this video for Homeboy Sandman called, “Lightning Bolt. Lightning Rod.” the other day and I knew the name sounded familiar. So I checked my music catalog and found him featured on the free PH (formerly known as Pumpkin Head) mixtape, My Era (No Skinny Jeans Allowed). With a little more digging I found the “Director’s Commentary” of the video with director Naheem Adio Kujenya adding comments to the video. One nice things to find out is that some of the extras in the video are emcees themselves.

Just like the first one they have included all of the production files for aspiring artists to use under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. Also for the first time, Blender is releasing Big Buck Bunny and Elephants Dream together on Blu-ray. Big Buck Bunny revolves around three sinister hamsters (rodents?) messing with a large bunny and the large bunny exacting his revenge on the three culprits. Here is the full rundown, DJ Solo of Soul Assassins fame has the time slot of 6-8pm PST with the show called DJ Solo�s 40s & Blunts. He drops old & new music like that new Rakim and has special guests like Def Jef and DJ P-Trix. There is also a social thing on the show whereas you can chat with other viewers about the show. So I was watching Soul Assassins TV (more on that later…) and DJ Solo drops a Rakim joint that I never heard before. So I go internet digging and find out that is called, “Holy Are You” off his upcoming album entitled, “The Seventh Seal”. If I was up on my YouTube viewing, I would have caught this song a year ago of him performing it at the Knitting Factory. Billboard.com recently put up an interview with Rakim explaining the new album name and letting us know that the single, “Holy Are You” will be available July 28th. But for now:

VBS.TV launches a new series by acclaimed filmmaker Spike Jonze this week with his video diary of a lovely day spent in London with M.I.A.

In this 6-part episode, Spike, Maya Arulpragasam (a.k.a. M.I.A) and a handicam, travel around London talking about everything from immigration and the third world to iPod battles and Maya’s new haircut, which was given to her by a ketamine-addled Polish man. Spike and Maya also make a visit to her friend Afrikan Boy (the first signing to her new Zig-Zag record label) in the council estates of Woolwich, south London, and later have a dance-off in the street outside Maya’s house.

This is a totally personal and frank video portrait is in which two good friends catch-up on their current news and gossip. Spike, who is the Creative Director of VBS.TV, continues this series with an equally candid profile of Kanye West next week.
