E3, PS3, Wii and Me

Ok, ok I finally have something to say about the PS3 that will be $500-600, it is worth it. The graphics on most games are insanely detailed. It will have Blu-Ray technology and HDMI High Definition connection (For the $600 version) to HD televisions. All the games at E3 have been on HD LCD TVs and the images jump off the screen on next-gen systems. For current systems it makes the games look choppy and pixelated so it will be hard to tell the true graphics. The PS3 gameplay for E3 demos feel like well polished games on the most part. I have still not played with my Wii yet but I bet you guys are dying to hear about it. I will try to get into the Nintendo Wii booth tomorrow. Next I will be posting games from day one at E3. In the post I will give the games my first impression, the controls and the interest level from other gamers at E3. Now back to the games…

Dark Side of the Ecliptic Sight @ E3

Usually on my sight I try to highlight games, films, events and more that I find great or informative. Even in my about page/mission statement I say that I want to only give positive feedback on the items or stories that I post. At E3 I want to talk about all the games that I play some good, some bad and some that make you wonder how did they get funding for that. That’s right folks for this event I will bring you E3 uncut and raw. I will give you my honest feedback on all demos I play and that means the dark side of me will draw its head. So sit back and relax and discover new games at E3. Come to the dark side…

Kaieos Gets Ecliptic Sight To E3

Well this might shock some of you but I did manage to get to E3 aka Gamer’s Paradise. The wonderful group that got me into E3 this year is Kaieos. Kaieos is spearheaded by Keith Vu. Keith doesn’t only do that but he also runs eZZyprints.com. How he does it is anyone’s guess. I just have to say thanks to Keith and Kaieos because I am at E3 typing this to you at the L.A. Convention Center.

Werner Von Wallenrod’s Humble, Little Hip Hop Site is a little gem that I discovered around 1998 and have used ever since. What Werner does that has kept me hooked all this time is list albums from Hip-Hop artists. Werner catalogues albums that you might have missed or discover artist through the artist’s affiliations. Everything is there from the artist albums, singles to guest spots on other people’s albums. Do you want to know if your collection is lacking that first pressing from your favorite emcee? Werner Von Wallenrod’s Humble, Little Hip Hop Site is anything but humble it is a monster of information at your fingertips.

Roosevelt Franklin – Bare Food
Mr. Len and Kimani Rogers (Roosevelt Franklin) are back after their groundbreaking album “Somethings Gotta Give” with their follow up album “Bare Food”. As a special gift to fans and newcomers they are giving it away for free. This album has a different feel to it from their previous album because it seems more personal from Roosevelt Franklin. Included in the download is the cover art and summary of the album and lyrics in a PDF. Enjoy.

Cypress Hill Gaming

Cypress Hill Game is a fun little flash game with simple controls. The game is nice distraction if you are looking for something to do on the net. Maybe I should throw a NSFW (Not Safe For Work) on the title because the intro and game does have illegal substances floating around. It should be obvious if you know Cypress Hill and their music then you their stance on the subject.
