Sean Price Stole Christmas

Happy Holidays from Ecliptic Sight. What makes a holiday even better? We all know it is good music. Well if you have not seen, “How Sean P! Stole Christmas” yet then you are missing out (and if you haven’t picked up his album, “Mic Tyson” then you are pass missing out and need to catch up) because Sean Price has put his spin on a holiday classic. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas animated cartoon is the topic of choice for Sean Price and Kimson Albert, Animator & Director of the video. Sean Price goes in for the one two punch on the vocals with some of the funniest and grimmest things to say on a Christmas record. Khrysis makes the Grinch his own with a smoothed out sound that makes you nod your head. Kimson Albert provides the slick visuals to add the icing on the cake bringing the whole project together. If you want the song for free go to Duck Down’s website and like their Facebook page.

Open Movie Of The Moment

Big Buck Bunny the second “open movie” after previously mentioned Elephants Dream from the Blender Foundation. Just like the first one they have included all of the production files for aspiring artists to use under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. Also for the first time, Blender is releasing Big Buck Bunny and Elephants Dream together on Blu-ray. Big Buck Bunny revolves around three sinister hamsters (rodents?) messing with a large bunny and the large bunny exacting his revenge on the three culprits. Enjoy on Vimeo HD (below) then go get it in portable, higher or Blu-ray format on the Big Buck Bunny website.

Major Daggering Video

I have to admit that the first time that I saw this style of dance was from my boy Killah Beast (Harlem!) , who labeled it “Jamacians Going Crazy! (unofficial name)”. Major Lazer has brought, “Daggering (official name)” back to my attention with its animated infused wildness.

Artist: Major Lazer
Song: Pon De Floor
Album: Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do

Straight from Skerrit Bwoy (main blonde mohawk guy):

CAUTION: do not try this at home, or in a club, you most likely will get hurt. but this is the new way to dance to reggae music. its called “DAGGERING” and will be premiered to the world by director Eric Wareheim, for the Major Lazer project by Diplo & switch. Look out… it just might be coming to a town near you.

Do You Like To Hulu?

Have you learned to hulu yet? Well why not it is easy and the best part it is free. Full length movies and television shows like “All Dogs Go To Heaven” and “Heroes” right at your computer streaming 24 hours a day. They are still adding new content partners which equals more shows for the viewer. They also offer RSS feeds to keep up with new shows or movies and embedding content on other websites which allows me to give you this full Simpsons episode.

With 19 seasons, the Simpsons still have the magic with this “Departed” inspired show entitled the “Debarted”. I will not spoil the ending but it is classic observation.

How Do You Feel Because We Feel Fine

We Feel Fine is a website that I stumbled upon when I was reading a post at UnEasySilence about TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) and they put a sample video for Jonathan Harris. On the video he talks about We Feel Fine and what inspired him to make it. Basically it is a website that looks at different websites for certain words and takes the sentence. Then it puts it on We Feel Fine as a particle (sentences) that reacts to your cursor, words on the screen and other particles. Now if you are totally confused click the link and experience for yourself.
